What accounting software do you recommend?
We work with clients exclusively using QuickBooks Online. Focusing on one accounting software platform allows us to focus our expertise, though we have nothing against other accounting software.

If I have a question, how long does it take to get an email response?
We pride ourselves in being very responsive to our client’s important inquiries. We strive to respond within 24 hours AT MOST (except over weekends and holidays).

What hours do team members work?
Due to the flexible nature of our services, many team members work various hours of the day and night. However, we use a standard Monday-Thursday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm CST work schedule to address emails and phone calls.

Do you require a contract?
Nope! No contract is required. However, there are no partial month refunds. A 30-day cancellation notice is required for all ongoing services.

What if I need additional services?
Please contact us! We offer a variety of business services, we can chat about what you need and you will have the opportunity to review additional services in more detail and select those that suit your business needs best.

Are your services available to client all over the world?
We work remotely with all of our clients, and can conduct meetings over phone and video calls. We work with US based companies, but remote work and travels are no barrier. 

How much do services cost?
We bill on a monthly service package model. The amount depends on the size and complexity of your business. Our core accounting services start at $250 per month. We also offer enhanced forward-looking consulting and advisory services integrated with bookkeeping. In addition, if your business qualifies, we do offer Micro-Business packages starting at just $150 per month and also Quarterly Bookkeeping packages for those who don't have a need for monthly reports.

After our consultation meeting, we'll be able to send you a custom proposal. Any catch up or clean up work is quoted separately after we assess your books and situation.

I've let my books fall by the wayside, can you catch up my books? What about setting up new systems?
Absolutely! For most of our new clients, we end up doing a bit of clean up. It's pretty normal to have fallen behind if you're an owner who has been doing your own books, and even if you've hired other help, we'll often do a bit of sprucing up to ensure your financials are in Martin Management Solutions-level shape.

As part of getting started, we will also customize your chart of accounts and financial reports. We will make recommendations for system upgrades and processes that integrate into our cloud-based approach.

I want to do my own bookkeeping, can you teach me how?
No, we do not teach bookkeeping, though we are always happy to show clients how to create invoices, pull reports, and have a resource database of accounting basics.
